Ramblin' Gamblin' began in February 1988
by me, Fran Herrmann, due to an over-
whelming need for a reliable company to escort fun-loving people to bingos and casinos from the upstate NY area.
We have been going strong ever since.
We invite you to join us whenever you can; to get on the mailing list for brochures and for e-mail of upcoming events.
You'll often find Dan Rider, a true fun-seeker on most trips helping me. He always has a kind word for everyone and usually gets the group "riled up" with his incredible personality. He'll teach you French while calling bingo, mix you a strange concoction of soda & juice giving  it an exotic name, all in the name of "fun."
Just when you thought you've had just about all the fun you can stand for one day, along comes Jim Rider. His extraordinary personality will keep you going, with lots of "tongue-in-cheek" humor. He is always happy to assist you any way he can. You're in for a treat if Jim is my assistant the day of your trip.
Cal Rider, my serious helper; but just as full of fun as the two above...only not as loud!
Cal will go out of his way to make sure things are right; and you will really enjoy his sweet, quiet personality and pleasant disposition.
At the end of 1996, we decided it was time to get our own bus for the transportation of our Ramblers.
Thus, you will see our lucky bus #46, or as one of our Ramblers named her, "Esmeralda" in her full glory.
It was driven by my hubby, Al, who was loved by all. He passed away on Dec. 10, 2001. He was a great driver, and a fun-lover.
Yes, it is a "family affair" and I am very proud to have had my Husband and now, 3 of my sons involved in my business. They have all helped to make my "ramblin' family" part of our very own!

Pride in the company, and caring about you, the customer is what has helped make Ramblin' Gamblin' the success it is today.
The Cleaning Crew
Wouldn't be fair to not mention the help we get after each trip from our "cleaning crew" who, for the most part are reliable, energetic and most of all, cute.

Yes, these are 3 of my grandchildren who also take part in the business. Although they're too young to gamble, they do take part in our "family" trips - to Wildwood every summer and also Riverside Park.
They ask, if you drop some change, just leave it...they'll find it while sweeping the bus!

Official "helper" on the bus, Judy B. will take good care of you. Her favorite number is G55, or as she calls it "double nik-kel." She is also the official donut hostess, so if you have a favorite kind, she'll accommodate you to the best of her ability.
Pete R. is our PR man. We can always count on Pete to have extra flyers on hand should he run into someone who has never heard of us! He has become part of our Ramblin' Family too, and always has a great attitude. Of course, he also has a lucky number I-23, which we wish he would change!
Then in February of 2001, we purchased our 2nd bus, which was named "Bertha". She holds 47 passengers and has TV video monitors; and is more modern.
Then in Feb. 2002, we purchased our newest bus. We call it "Big Daddy" and it bears the number 075
Barb W. is a joy as a helper. Keeps everyone in a jovial mood and is sweet as pie.
Ask her to do her Marilyn Monroe impression! You will be amazed!
Story of the Ramblersb
And then things changed!
We were unable to keep charter bus company going due to high costs of rising fuel, maintenance and insurance.
So now, we charter other companies' buses and do our own thing.
For you, nothing really has changed!
Poise your mouse over each picture here to see what these kids look like today!
Shocking, ain't it!
They are all still a delight.
This is Tommy, who is our regular driver whenever we can get him. He is full of fun and will keep you in stitches. Plus, he's a great driver! What more can you ask for?
This is our newest brand of "Tommy" - super nice guy, nice bus and great driver! Welcome to the Ramblers Tom.
